As I promised yesterday...

Title: Allies
Rating: PG-13
Genres: Drama, Mild Romance (Daniel/Vala, members of the Asgard with each other), Humor, Friendship (SG-1 with each other).
Summary: Vacation over, it's time to get back to work -- with some exciting developments! Hope for the future of all races, especially the Asgard and the Tau'ri! Happy reunions! Also, the truth about Peri revealed ....
Spoilers: up to "Momento Mori"
Length: a little over 4,100 words -- about 10 pages
Notes: Sequel to "Ribs", "Date with a Pirate Princess", "Date with a Martian Stuntwoman", "Date with a World Traveller", and "Date with a Wild Child", and prequel to "Homecomings and Happy Endings". Also, while there are no actual spoilers for the season 10 episode "Line in the Sand", I must admit that episode did plant a plot bunny in my brain for this story ....

Summary: Feeling real hope for the future for the first time since the Ori threat began, Daniel adn Vala find moments to explore what "home" and "love" mean.
Spoilers: up to "Momento Mori"
Length: almost 3,250 words -- about 8 pages
Notes: Sequel to "Ribs", "Date with a Pirate Princess", "Date with a Martian Stuntwoman", "Date with a World Traveller", "Date with a Wild Child", and "Allies". Final installment in this AU series (unless I get the urge to write another :P)....

Loved the new installments. Loved Vala & Daniels homecoming and moving in together as well as their stay at the Alpha site. So sweet that Daniel had the goat she liked brought there. And the ending, with the "welcome home little one" was wonderful.

Two fics!! YAY!
And the PERFECT ENDING! There's no other word to describe it. Earth safe, multiple weddings, a child on the way!!! Oh, and SEX too!!!
Fluffy?? By all means YES, SG1 (specially Daniel and Vala) deserved fluffyness after all the struggle, not only with the Ori but with themselves!
I don't want to sound greedy, but I really hope you're going to keep writing Daniel/Vala fics, because to read your stories is a delight. Here's to your muse! *raises glass*

Heh, you don't know how nervous I was about H&HE -- I adore happy endings, but I'm used to the non-Spuffy areas of the Buffy fandom being so very fond of tragedy, and putting down fluff. Me, I hate tragedy -- I love stories that give me hope! Thank YOU, on behalf of myself and my writing muse, for all your kind encouragement! *GLOMPS*

Oh, and I'll definitely keep fic'cing DV -- I've actually got another for my other series, "Getting to Know You..." in the works -- the one that Solace, Origin, and Influence is a part of. I'll probably do tags for some episodes later this season, too (which I've already watched on youtube... XD)

i wud just like to say that this is THE best d&v fanfiction i have ever read, and trust me i've read it all. You are an absolutely amazing writer, you made me laugh so much, and even cry. i was in total empathy with the characters.

i no tht this sounds like empty praise but i have watched stargate since i was 5 (being 15 now :-) ) but only recently got into it a lot. i love vala i think she is brilliant for the team, and the past several hours i have spent reading your series has been so amazing, i'm not even sure why.

here i go rattling on agen, well, sorry, i just loved it. write some more?
